There are many countries producing matcha powder, but the best matcha are still come from Japan.

Matcha from different region has slightly different flavour in term of umami, depending on the fertility, elevation, weather and water source etc. The match from Uji and Nishio are considered the best matcha in Japan, as well as in the world.
